Our primary infantry impression is 1/11th Infantry, 1st Brigade, 5th Infantry Division (The Red Devils). 5th Division's Area of Operations was in Quang Tri province in I Corps, 1968-71.

Within the 1/11th Infantry, we portray C Company, the "Challengers". Charlie Company was an Airmobile infantry unit and adopted an unofficial patch derived from the Ranger scroll to showcase their elite status. We have had these "in-country" patches reproduced in Vietnam and we wear them with pride on our fatigue shirts along with the 5th Division red diamond patch.

The principal impression for female troops and anyone interested in a Medical Corps unit is the 18th Surgical Hospital which provided medical support to the 1st Brigade, 5th Infantry Division begining in November, 1969.

We will be updating this page with specific photographs of the uniforms required for C Co., 1/11 Infantry and the 18th Surgical Hospital. In the meantime, Moore Militaria's website has an excellent list of the basic soldier's equipment which can be accessed by following the links below. Moore is also a reliable supplier from which nearly all the proper equipment can be obtained:

Equipment List: This is a simple list detailing everything from a basic to an advanced Vietnam Army infantry impression.

Reference Pages: These pages provide an historical overview of the evolution of US Army and Marine Corps equipment during the war.

We are also seeking individuals interesting in portraying Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army troops to participate in reenactment battle events.
